The geologic consulting business serviced independent natural gas companies located in southwestern Pennsylvania. The geologic consulting business developed into Everest Exploration Company. Everest Exploration Company primarily focused on geologic prospect development, land acquisition, and the joint venture drilling of natural gas wells with industry partners. In March of 2007, Everest Exploration Company became a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC).
